A rare old Premier Grand Cru cognac
An ultra-premium cognac in a crystal carafe created as a tribute to the founder of the cognac house Frapin, Pierre Frapin, who in 1888 created a cuvée awarded the following year with a gold medal at the World Exhibition in Paris (the medal is still stored in the cellars of Segonzac).

This rare blend of very old Grande Champagne cognacs also contains eaux-de-vie from before 1888 and a certain amount of the Folle Blanche variety, which is rare in the Cognac region today.
The incredibly complex aromas of this cognac include rich tones of dried fruit, walnuts and hazelnuts, raisins, prunes, candied orange, sandalwood, cocoa, coffee. They are complemented by subtle floral aromas (linden blossom) against a background of tones of spices, honey, noble leather and rare woods.
The crystal decanter was created by Christalleries Royales de Champagne and is decorated with 24-karat gold.
